Bellingham, WA 98226
Bellingham is a PNW paradise. Look east and you’ll see Lake Whatcom, Mt. Baker and the Cascade Mountains. Gaze west across the waters of the Puget Sound and take in the San Juan Islands and the Olympic Mountains on the horizon. To the north British Columbia’s snow-capped North Shore mountains lie beyond vast fields of berries and dairy farms. And to the south, just past Lake Padden, every hiker salivates over the coastal Chuckanut mountains. Bellingham is easy to call home as it is tucked in between Vancouver and Seattle, but without the congestion of either. Our simple campus, in north Bellingham, is in the church facility of Spring Creek Bible Church which is within half an hour of Canada, Ferndale, Lynden and Burlington.

Living
Knowing the cost of living in Bellingham, like most of western Washington, is above the American average, WGC strives to keep school costs low. In addition, we schedule most classes Tuesday-Thursday enabling students to have the opportunity to work part-time while enrolled.
Bellingham, with its mild, marine climate offers a variety of living options from homes and apartments to country living and mountain spaces. Between the Puget Sound on Bellingham ’s shores, numerous islands just a ferry ride away and lakes right in city limits, the opportunities for recreation are endless. Escapes into nature include hiking the foothills or Mt. Baker, hunting, biking, fishing, skiing and kayaking.
Savoring
Bellingham is an international and college community of just under 100,000 people and that comes with cross-cultural adventures right in your neighborhood. You’ll find restaurants for every taste and local activities that are family-friendly and outreach-ready. Take in a Pacific sunset with the Olympic mountains caressing the horizon and you will see why the PNW is so highly treasured. Just don’t get addicted! You are needed among other tribes and nations.
Worshipping
Whatcom County is home to a growing number of faithful, Bible-driven churches that you can call home and maintain a life of worshipping Christ Jesus first and foremost. If you don’t already have a church home in the area, examine the list of local Advising Churches or talk with a Whitefield administrator for even more ideas of church families that might be ideal for you. Each church will have unique distinctives to consider, ministries that may fit you best and different “flavors” of personality all within the bounds of biblical ecclesiology. WGC encourages dual membership for those temporarily in Bellingham for school in both the home/sending church and a local body they can plug into quickly. May your entire life be a life of worship, no matter where in the world the Lord places you.
WGC Chapel
Each Wednesday we gather at 11:00 AM as a campus community-staff, student body and their families-along with an open invitation to fellow worshippers from the community in the WGC Chapel Service. Chapel functions like “a church made up of churches” as we unite under expositional preaching of Scripture, prayer, and singing saturated with the exaltation of God. Chapel brings together saints from numerous bodies in what is a small touch of the church universal. Numerous guest preachers and missionaries are invited and encouraged to pour their hearts into all that gather as we focus on the Lord Jesus Christ.
WGC Facilities
Whitefield is located on a church campus and is intentionally simple. WGC is a set of classrooms designed for effective, interactive learning. In addition there are spaces for quiet study, worship in the Silver Beach Room Chapel, an area for lunch and fellowship and our growing library. WGC students will have designated hours of access to the gym and small change rooms. The church, Spring Creek Bible Church, is a marvelous 40,000 sq. foot building surrounded with woods, homes and walkways located on the north side of Bellingham just blocks from all sorts of stores, hotels, restaurants. The facility is ten minutes from Interstate 5, Costco and the Bellingham International Airport.
