Module Learning Format
Whitefield’s approach to courses employs modular learning. That simply means classes are offered one at a time with the only overlap being the time given to complete earlier class requirements or read ahead for upcoming courses. Each module is led by a guest adjunct professor unless it is taught by a WGC Regular Faculty member. For depth of relationship and discipleship purposes classes will be taught face-to-face in our Bellingham campus. Some professors may only be available via video or livestream. Classes will be limited to a maximum of 32 students and our approach places students in a cohort that will proceed through all three years of study together, offering maximum opportunity for meaningful relationships with colleagues to develop.
Areas of Study

Faculty
Whitefield prayerfully pursues godly, faithful, qualified instructors to lead the courses the Lord has led us to offer. In some years certain professors might not be available to teach in-person or at all in which case WGC lines up another instructor or on occasion runs the class via video from a previous year with a minimal amount of livestream, if possible, for the professor.
The aim of WGC Academics is to seek the most dedicated, exemplary instructors we can line up making the Whitefield education petite but powerful. Our professors serve our students and their sending churches at personal sacrifice out of hearts which are passionate to help advance the gospel with biblical fidelity among the nations in any way they can.
As these teaching arrangements are made in the developmental months to come, faculty members will be listed here. For security reasons, not all faculty members can be mentioned online.
Accreditation
In these initial phases of Whitefield Global College, we are exploring the benefits of being accredited by a small, private, Christian accrediting agency. While accreditation is a positive in many ways, what it may not do is compel any level of compromise or overly burdensome requirements or expense. We do desire the accountability to maintain our academic rigor and standards, financial integrity, and a safe and God-honoring learning environment. So accreditation is our hope. Please join us in praying for wisdom and discernment on this issue. The accreditation application process will take a few years, so this is a long-term process. Either way, WGC will not be accredited by a government, secular or traditional agency thus federal loans and involvement with FAFSA will not apply to us.
Master of Arts in Missiology
This program is designed to be a graduate-level course for those with academic experience and serious time invested in seeking the Lord’s will for their calling. Once successfully completed, WGC will confer a Master of Arts in Missiology degree to graduates. Whether the M.A. will be accepted by other institutions will be a question for each school to determine. With the most like-minded of ministry-oriented institutions and seminaries, at the discretion of the Board of Regents, Whitefield Global College will happily pursue mutual credit acceptance and academic cooperation.
Certificate of Missiology
An accepted student who completes the same requirements of the M.A. of Missiology program but has not yet completed his/her bachelor’s level degree, will be conferred a Certificate of Missiology. Should the student subsequently complete and graduate from his/her undergraduate program, WGC will then approve the change of the Certificate to become a Master of Arts retroactively. WGC will only admit a limited percentage of Certificate-level students in any given school year.
